Employee Honored

Luann Wiedenmann of WMRC was honored during the past year as an Employee of the Quarter in the Illinois Department of Natural Resources. Wiedenmann is an Analytical Support Chemist in the WMRC Lab. The DNR Director presented Wiedenmann with a certificate and a gift “duck stamp” picture and plaque.
The award was a complete surprise to Wiedenmann as her co-workers had tricked her into believing that she was going to Springfield for a meeting. She was nominated for the award by her supervisor, who noted her positive attitude and professional approach to all aspects of her job at WMRC.
