Tim Lindsey is Manager of the WMRC Pollution Prevention Program. He supervises a staff of 19 engineers and scientists who perform research on innovative industrial process technologies and provide technical assistance to industries regarding process improvement strategies.
Dr. Lindsey has been with the Center since 1991 and has produced numerous publications on pollution prevention technologies and methods for promoting adoption of innovative pollution prevention practices. He was previously employed at one of the nation's largest energy processing facilities for Exxon. He was with Exxon for a total of six years and served as an Environmental Engineer, Safety Coordinator and Project Manager. Prior to his work with Exxon, he was employed as an environmental consultant for five years supervising contaminated site investigation and remediation projects.
He earned both a B.S. and M.S. in Environmental Science from Southern Illinois University and a Ph.D. in Environmental Planning from the University of Illinois.
