The High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) Group carries responsibilities for all liquid chromatography instrumentation, plus the capillary electrophoresis system (CE), the ion chromatograph (IC), and the carbon analyzers (TOC). The newest addition is the LC/MS Micromass Quattro micro API mass spectrometer, which includes MS-MS capability.The Group also performs many wet chemical analysis that support the Center's Pollution Prevention Program.
The Group is headed by Teresa Chow, who also serves as WMRC’s Laboratory Supervisor. She is assisted by Monte Wilcoxon. The Group is also supported by a student hourly employee.
